If you read this blog you know that I am constantly on the look-out for Low Carb products that meet my lifestyle and help to make my life a bit easier. Saving time on cooking, and having a variety of snacks available help to make the diet a bit easier on myself so I don’t get bored with the same old things. So when I discovered that there was a new subscription service that sends you products that fit within the low carb lifestyle I was on board.
Keto Krate is a new subscription box that is available in the long list of to your door monthly box subscriptions that is specifically geared towards the Keto and low carb lifestyle. They guarantee that all items in the box will be less than 5 carbs per serving and that the value of the collected items products will always exceed the cost of the box.
My desire to find some new snacks that were low carb is really what made me decide to give it a try, that plus who doesn’t like a surprise now and then.
My review's for the individual products in this box will be cut short here. I will be doing more in-depth reviews on each product and share links to those reviews here as I complete them. Right now I just want to talk about this month's box and what I got as a whole.
So every box has a nice little welcome card that explains all the items you received and then usually has some promo codes in case you need more of something. I have already found myself using this for a snack I receive in my last box that no one carried in the stores near me. I had to have some more so having a little discount was great to give me the incentive to get some shipped to me.
Lots of great items this month and a couple that I was pretty excited to try out. So what was in my box this month?
This box was pretty tightly packed with items. However there wasn’t anything that I pulled out that really made me excited. Still lots of tasty things to try. Spicy Hemp hearts where the first things out. I have no idea what those are. But happy to try them. A couple protein bars are always in here. One is a Beef and Uncured Bacon & Jalapeno Bar, another is a Peanut butter bar, and lastly a salted Carmel bar. Some breakfast cereal is in the box which I think is fun. Some more dried cheese too. Another beef stick. Always get one of those. And a pouch of jerky, its Biltong beef though so it’s the good stuff. A small bag of nuts by Legendary. I love that company. Always really full of flavor. The last thing is a plastic bin filled with meringues. They send some of these before and me and my kids love them.
Overall an ok box. But pretty safe. I don’t know I guess this one would probably be a 6/10. Seems like nothing I wasn’t surprised by. But lots of good snacks.

I am running out of ways to describe low carb bars.
This NuGo Slim Brownie Crunch Bar is pretty good. What make its the most different is that it has some pretty good real chocolate over the hole ting. At least they say that's its real. Who knows. But it tastes good due to that. The stuff inside was just decent. Over all a decent bar. I enjoyed it.
These are sunflower seeds in a funny packaging. Nothing more. Pass.
Gimme some unique flavors and we can talk.
Ketond Chocolate Fudge Brownie Shake Mix was better than I expected it to be. I mixed my with a unsweetened Vanilla almond milk. It made a small 8oz shake. Tasted kind of like what I remember cookies and cream milk used to taste like. Maybe that reference doesn’t hit with many.
Overall I like the taste though. I think that it's probably more cost effective to get pre made shakes. But if you want something that is a powder for some reason I don’t understand. This might be great for you
SmartCakes Cinnamon Cakes are some of my favorite Smart Cakes yet. Super tasty, they taste just like a cinnamon donut or a light coffee cake. This brand does a great job in making light-on-the-carbs snack cakes. I like to have mine in the morning as a breakfast treat. Anyway, great taste and great flavor. I strongly recommend to give these a try.
I tried these Pork King Good White Cheddar Pork Rinds. The rinds themselves are nice and light with a good crunch to them. The flavor however was a bit uneven. The pork rinds at the top of my bag were just average. As I traveled down the bag and got pork rinds with more of the White Cheddar flavor on them they improved. But even though they got better they didn’t ever stand out as being top notch pork rinds. If your hard up for some of these I can think of a few other brands that are a bit better and you can find the even on Amazon.
Curly Girls Candy Coffee Toffee is pretty tasty. I love Toffee first of all so this is right up my alley. But this company is high end chocolate and has great flavor. It’s the kind of sweet your savor over time. Don’t eat the whole bag at once otherwise you may have some stomach cramping. But it's hard not too. Honestly this is one of my favorite low carb sugar free chocolate companies. If these aren't your thing, hit up their website. Your probably find something else that you like.
