1. A carb hangover from the cheats you wallowed in over the weekend. You're trying to get back on track today and you stomach is pissed because it got used to the sugar, the carbs, and getting stretched out twice its own size. So hungry. So very hungry. Need pie.
2. The demons inside you are fighting and you keep thinking to yourself, "Maybe I can start again tomorrow. What's one more day of cheats going to hurt. "
I will say this, my mother in law made a pumpkin Pie that was low sugar and a bit healthier than traditional ones and I couldn't even taste the change.
I was sent home with leftovers from the in-laws house. The carbs go to my wife as I swore to be good between now and the next holiday, but there is a good amount of turkey and ham left over for me to use in wonderful ways. Having good tasty meat to use for wraps and other things make me more inclined to pack lunches for myself. This is handy as we all need to save the pennies for the Christmas shopping.
I would love to hear some of the low carb things that you folks are doing with your leftovers? Got any ideas for me?
