Anyone else have any other good low-carb granola or cereal substitutes out there they want to share?
Nature Valley makes a special granola which is designed to have a little bit more protein in it and therefore a little less carbs. So how does it taste? So the stuff is pretty much like any other granola you might have except that it probably has a little bit more flax inside. I thought it was pretty good and works great as a substitute for cereal. However if you want to actually have a good size bowl you're still gonna end up having quite a bit of carbs. So it's not really for people who are on induction and really for people who are at their goal weight and can handle their carbs a bit more. To be honest it taste pretty good, but we haven't had it beginning our house since the initial bag. I guess if I'm going to have a little extra carbs in my day I'm probably not going to do it at breakfast time. But for those of you who are really breakfast people and are missing the variety of things you can have this might be a good option.

Way too many carbs to even be considered as a low carb option, for me anyway. It's loaded with sugar!!

I love toasted coconut flakes for breakfast. I mix them with some cinnamon and sliced almonds and bake them for a faux-honey bunches of oats taste. I pour unsweetened almond milk on top. If I don't feel like baking, I order Hi-Lo cereal online. The maple pecan flavor is my favorite
