I was a little skeptical at first because I was afraid there might be a lot of artificial flavors in this or have a heavy flax taste. I couldn’t be more wrong. This stuff taste great. I like to eat it with some unsweetened vanilla almond milk. It absolutely helps to fill the need for a bowl of cereal in the morning. The taste is good too. It has a nice vanilla cinnamon flavor to it which isn’t too strong. One issue I did have was that since the bag was shipped to me a lot of the granola got smashed in about half of the bag was closer to a powder/crumb form then cluster.
I hope to try some other versions of this out on the market but until I do this will serve nicely. My only real complaint about this is the price tag. On Amazon a bag of this goes for about 10 bucks. That’s probably because it contains flax and flax isn’t cheap. It seems like when you want to eat low-carb and have alternatives often times you have to pay for it. I am curious however, do any of you have a good homemade recipes for low-carb for granola? If so I’d love to hear it.
