Jelly Belly Sugar Free Low Carb Jelly Beans Review

Look, the fact of the matter is, I like candy. I gots me a sweet tooth! There, now maybe we can move on from this awful dark cloud . Can we please? ...No?

Good, because I don't want to.

Let talk about candy. Lets talk about how, now that you can't eat carbs, candy rarely comes around for you anymore. It never visits and hardly writes. Its sad really. Is that High School friend that you just lost touch with. But don't worry, when you go off to college you meet that new friend that opens your eyes to great music, the Beatles, and weird artsy movies, and shows you that it ok to shop at the 99 cent only store for your groceries when times are tight. Wait what? Ok, I think i might be losing track here.

Anyway, I found candy! That we low carb conscious can eat. Jelly Belly make sugar free jelly beans and they are sweetened with Splenda. Taste just normal to me? Sweet and still fun. My wife and I eat them in the dark and play russian roulette with them cause she hates the Black licorice ones. But who does really.

subtract the fiber (8g) subtract the sugar alcohol (24) from 37g carb to get 5 net carbs

You left out the part about the warning on the package that says - despite the serving size being 35 - to not eat more than 8 beans without possibly having stomach discomfort and laxative effects....which is what happened when I ate 12 of them....so warning people!!! They are delicious, but you could be out of commission for the followng 7 hours!

Ha, you are so right Gigi. I guess the first time I wrote this post I wasn't effected by it, but on my second bag later, I really was. Yeesh. It's surely a risk.

The additional problem is that malitol affects insulin and has a glycemic index close to sucrose. Malitol and malitol syrup are very bad for keto.
