I had high hopes for these Hintons pig Chips chicharrones but I wasn’t a fan. The main reason I didn’t like them was because they had a softness to them that should not accompany this type of snack. Perhaps it has something to do with the type of style of these are advertised as, but mine almost had a wetness to them. I’m used to these being more dried and Fried. They were crispy, but again I feel as though maybe they were not cooked long enough as the center of them was soft. If I missing something here please someone correct me. I don’t know if it’ll change my viewpoint on them but maybe I’ll give The snack a reason for having the consistency it did.

Hey there! So sorry you weren't a fan! Pig Chips have the macros they do because of the thick fat layer attached to the skin, just like traditional cracklins right out of the kettle. It sounds like you were expecting something more like a pork rind, which is understandable. I'd love another shot at changing your mind about our snacks, so reach out, and I'm more than happy to send you another bag in the flavor of your choosing. If you'd rather not, hey, no hard feelings. Simply put, they aren't for everyone, especially if contrasting textures (which we LOVE) throw you for a bit of a loop. Thanks, and be well!
