First up, it's very easy to make. Mix in a few ingredients like oil, eggs, vanilla and you are off to the races. The bake time on my batch took a little longer than what the packages said and was closer to 23-24 minutes. I remember that from when I made the brownies too.
The taste was decent, however the biggest takeaway is that this mix uses natural sweeteners and has that unusual cool taste that certain raw sweeteners create. I have never been a fan of that taste especially in backed goods. Certain things allow the unnatural taste to work, especially if they are intended to have a cool flavor, but baked goods usually don’t have that in them. Still they were pretty good and I ate a little bit over the next few nights. My three year old had a couple bites of one and then threw it away because she didn’t like the taste. That may be an indicator there of what they are really like.
