Fit & Active 14 Calorie Bars Review

I was at my relatives house catching up and having dinner with them. When the meal was over the inevitable desserts came out and my insides started to wrestle with themselves. Ice cream, popsicles, and more. All troublesome things. One thing caught my eye however. My aunt, uncle, and cousins a have been doing Weight Watchers and have been pretty successful with it. Because of that they have their own counting system that doesn't usually mesh with the low carb life, but there was one item on hand that did.

Fit & Active 14 Calorie Bars come with several flavors in a box and all go with the fruit and cream flavor in style. All and all they were extremely tasty and when you look at the numbers they have no carbs in them. They were sweet and had good flavor and were not too gritty or strange tasting like some sugarless popsicles are. The only trouble is that these bars are exclusive to ALDI grocery stores. If you have one near you check them out, and let me know what else you find that may be low in carb.

These ice cream bars are wonderful but told they are not available all the time. Please make them available all the time. They are great for those of us who are on diets or are diabetics.

You might be able to take the box/label into a grocery store and ask them to carry this item!

This is not carb free....close, but not.
Examples of sugar alcohols include:

Sorbitol
Xylitol
Mannitol
Isomalt
Maltitol
Lactitol
Hydrogenated Starch Hydrolysates
Here’s what you need to know:

Because sugar alcohols are hard for the body to digest, the effect on blood sugar levels is less than standard sugar. When counting carbohydrates for products made with sugar alcohols, subtract half of the grams of sugar alcohol listed on the food label from the total grams of carbohydrate.

Remember that because sugar alcohols are harder for your body to digest, eating too many sugar alcohols may cause digestive complaints like gas, cramping and diarrhea.

Now let’s practice using the sample food label shown here:
Nutrition Label - Understanding Sugar

Locate the total carbohydrate in one serving. You will see that the total carbohydrate is 29 grams.
The amount of sugar alcohol is 18 grams per serving.
Calculate half the grams of sugar alcohol (18 grams of sugar alcohol divided by 2 equals 9 grams).
Subtract only half of the grams of sugar alcohol from the total carbohydrate Count this product as 20 grams of carbohydrate (29 grams total carbohydrate minus 9 grams sugar alcohol equals 20 grams of carbohydrate).

I'm a loyal customer of Aldo and found an amazing product in your Fit and Active 14 calorie ice cream bars. I was told they were a special Buy, but when a demand for this product is made by so many of your customers, I can't imagine why you would not make every effort to make this part of your inventory. Please consider this request and make a loyal customer delierously happy. Thank you.
