If you read this blog you know that I am constantly on the look-out for Low Carb products that meet my lifestyle and help to make my life a bit easier. Saving time on cooking, and having a variety of snacks available help to make the diet a bit easier on myself so I don’t get bored with the same old things. So when I discovered that there was a new subscription service that sends you products that fit within the low carb lifestyle I was on board.
Keto Krate is a new subscription box that is available in the long list of to your door monthly box subscriptions that is specifically geared towards the Keto and low carb lifestyle. They guarantee that all items in the box will be less than 5 carbs per serving and that the value of the collected items products will always exceed the cost of the box.
My desire to find some new snacks that were low carb is really what made me decide to give it a try, that plus who doesn’t like a surprise now and then.
My review's for the individual products in this box will be cut short here. I will be doing more in-depth reviews on each product and share links to those reviews here as I complete them. Right now I just want to talk about this month's box and what I got as a whole.
So every box has a nice little welcome card that explains all the items you received and then usually has some promo codes in case you need more of something. I have already found myself using this for a snack I receive in my last box that no one carried in the stores near me. I had to have some more so having a little discount was great to give me the incentive to get some shipped to me.
Lots of great items this month and a couple that I was pretty excited to try out. So what was in my box this month?
The box this month felt like it was jam packed with items. And while I wouldn’t classify them all as snacks, most of them were and they seem promising. First thing I saw was some Meringues cookie things. No idea what they actually are, but I love big stuff like this. There are a few options for dried meats here. A filet Mignon jerky, a beef stick, and a Bar. All look great. The jerky looks extremely fancy. I love cookies and its great to see more cookie options out there. So a birthday cake cookie is right up my aisle. There is some water mix to try which may be good and some dried cheese which I always love. A peanut butter bar in the protein side. Also some fat oils to eat which I usually don’t care for. This was a decent box because it had a lot in it, but I'm not really a fan of these fat packs and I think they are not much use to me. So those items I usually don’t care for.
Overall a good box. But would love to see less of the fat packs and more traditional snacks.

I dropped the ball and totally forgot to take a photo of these buns when they were done. Sorry folks,
But these are fantastic. I was totally worried that they would not be dense enough or for that matter be too dense. That they would have a weird after taste but that wasn’t the case at all. These things were perfect and filling.
First up, these are supper easy to make. 3 ingredients added to the mix, mix it up, knead the dough, and make some balls to bake. They fluffed up and turned out perfect.
So how do they taste? I used them a few different ways over the past few days.
The buns are kind of bland, but in a good way. They don’t take from what ever the real source of the meal is and they help to really fill you up. I enjoyed it. I would easily get some of these again.
Legendary makes great almonds! Good Flavoring and very savory. I love these things. Super ranchy and not too sour or salty either. I would love to see these start showing up on shelves. These guys know how to do flavoring.
Tastes like ketchup. Sweet, smokey, and a fantastic addition to any burger. Low in sugar. Works great. Not too vinegary. yum.
These cookies are pretty tasty. While they were a little bit on the dry side, for the most part they get it right. Soft baked and not too sweet. Great size for snacking. Not too big like some protein cookies are. These are clearly intended for more of a treat purpose.
This was not anything special. They cooked backed and put it in a vacuum package. I can pretty much make bacon at home. Flavor doesn’t even add anything new. Meh. Go buy some actual bacon.
I won't review this. It’s a big pickle. I bet you can figure it out. Go eat a pickle in your fridge. Now imagine its bigger. Done.
These Protein chips have a bit of a strong aftertaste. Not sure I can pinpoint the flavor but it probably springs from the fact that they aren't too natural.
Flavoring is good though. Good cheesy taste and works well with any lunch or meal to fill you up. I probably wouldn’t buy these as I feel the price is a bit high.
