Atkins Review: Farmhouse-Style Sausage Scramble

Here's another review of the Day Break line of breakfast meals. This one isn't that different from the other breakfast meal with Chorizo. Eggs, cheese, peppers, onions, and some sausage.

They do a pretty good job with these. At least as good of a job as you can do when you are making a meal out of frozen eggs. They have pretty good taste. The texture of this bowl isn't quiet the same as fresh eggs, but they still have a general consistency that resembles what breakfast should be like.

I like these breakfast bowls. They have a lot of meat in them and I kinda like the way they taste when the cheese gets a little over cooked around the edges. It resembles more of a egg bake to me at times. Not to bad. I would love to see them come out with some other versions for the daybreak line. It would be awesome if they came out with some toaster waffles for us low carbers. That probably wouldn't be to cheap to do though.

Who else has tried this?

I need Atkins to come out with some breakfast bowls with Bacon in them. I don't like Sausage all that well. Being so I have been eating the Smart Ones breakfast with eggs, bacon and a little potato. But I think it's like 15 carbs :<

Yes! Where's the Bacon Atkins? I love bacon and it's seems like that would be a home run.

The salt content in the Atkins frozen foods are pathetic. I won't eat because of that alone.

I tried the sausage breakfast bowl this morning. It was larger than I expected and quite good. I ate it with a cup of coffee and was quite satisfied.

I just tried this and it is very good, but the sodium is sky high! I will be making my own version in the future to control the salt level.
