Oven Baked Parm Crisps don't really stand out to me as anything different. They aren't bad in any way and are excellently crispy dried parmesan cheese pieces. These didn’t have much of an after taste which others do have. That is good. Overall, I thought this nothing new. Great snack, but I would try Cheese whisps as they are a bit easier to find.

If you read this blog you know that I am constantly on the look-out for Low Carb products that meet my lifestyle and help to make my life a bit easier. Saving time on cooking, and having a variety of snacks available help to make the diet a bit easier on myself so I don’t get bored with the same old things. So when I discovered that there was a new subscription service that sends you products that fit within the low carb lifestyle I was on board. Keto Krate is a new subscription box that is available in the long list of to your door monthly box subscriptions that is specifically geared towards the Keto and low carb lifestyle. They guarantee that all items in the box will be less than 5 carbs per serving and that the value of the collected items products will always exceed the cost of the box. My desire to find some new snacks that were low carb is really what made me decide to give it a try, that plus who doesn’t like a surprise now and then. My review's for the individual products in this box will be cut short here. I will be doing more in-depth reviews on each product and share links to those reviews here as I complete them. Right now I just want to talk about this month's box and what I got as a whole. So every box has a nice little welcome card that explains all the items you received and then usually has some promo codes in case you need more of something. I have already found myself using this for a snack I receive in my last box that no one carried in the stores near me. I had to have some more so having a little discount was great to give me the incentive to get some shipped to me. Lots of great items this month and a couple that I was pretty excited to try out. So what was in my box this month? This month's box was a little bit disappointing. While there are some decent items in the box, I found it to feel short. First off, it's worth noting that before I even recieved the box Keto Krate sent out an email stating that they were unable to get one of the items in the box due to the company they partnered with. While I think that mistakes like that are understandable, I feel like the coupon that was offered in its place was pretty under whelming. I was also bummed because it was supposed to be waffle mix. Who doesn’t like waffles? But let's not just talk about what was not in the box. Let's talk about what was. First thing I pulled out was some Oven Baked Parm Crisps. Seems like these days dried cheese is becoming the new beef stick in the sense that they put some in every box. Lemon Smart cakes where the next thing to come out. I love smart cakes. Super tasty and moist. Great for a snack and a perfect muffin substitute. A small bag of Italian Herb Flax crackers could good. I like the company that makes them. They have had good crackers in the past. A small bag of meat sticks were next, these excited me as I love chorizo. Super tasty and can't wait to try these. Nekstella chocolate hazelnut syrup in a small bottle. I love hazelnut spreads! This is exciting. Anything I can put on top of a low carb ice cream is a win. And last, one of my favorite items is Front Porch Pecans. Some of the tastiest Pecans that I have tried.
The items are decent, not much in extras in this box and overall feels a little empty. But the snacks are good. Many of them are one sitting snacks so you may burn through this box fast. Still some fun stuff I look forward to trying.
