Keto Krate June Box Review

If you read this blog you know that I am constantly on the look-out for Low Carb products that meet my lifestyle and help to make my life a bit easier. Saving time on cooking, and having a variety of snacks available help to make the diet a bit easier on myself so I don’t get bored with the same old things. So when I discovered that there was a new subscription service that sends you products that fit within the low carb lifestyle I was on board.

Keto Krate is a new subscription box that is available in the long list of to your door monthly box subscriptions that is specifically geared towards the Keto and low carb lifestyle. They guarantee that all items in the box will be less than 5 carbs per serving and that the value of the collected items products will always exceed the cost of the box.

My desire to find some new snacks that were low carb is really what made me decide to give it a try, that plus who doesn’t like a surprise now and then.

My review's for the individual products in this box will be cut short here. I will be doing more in-depth reviews on each product and share links to those reviews here as I complete them. Right now I just want to talk about this month's box and what I got as a whole.
First out of the box this month was some Chocolate Chip Cookies. The Nui brand has done a good job before and so I look forward to trying these. Dried cheese usually comes in the box and this month was no different. Another Beef Stick too. The items I was excited for was some low carb chocolate milk mix, and Some chocolate mug cake. Two items I have never seen before but both sound great. There is also a granola mix that is snickerdoodle flavor which I think sounds wonderful. On the saltier side we have some pork rinds, umami sunflower seeds, and protein crisps. Lastly it all wraps up with a chocolate nut butter.

Overall I thought this was a pretty good box with items that were new and fun to try. Things I haven’t seen before. Probably give this one a nice 7/10. Solid and tasty items. And lots of chocolate!

I've had the Fat Snax Cookies on several occasions before and the past flavors I have tried have all been good, but sometimes they came off a little dry. These double Chocolate cookies were a bit higher on my ratings for them. Great flavor, very chocolatey and sweet. Soft backed too. Cookie lovers this could be a perfect fit for you to fill that old need you have.

Stoka Bar Coco Almond Review

The Coco Almond Stoka Bar is a decent bar but I can't seem to really remember much about it. I don’t think you should expect something that is very sweet. It's almost more of a granola style protein bar. It was fine but overall I don’t think it had a very strong impression on me.

The Cereal School Fruity Cereal Review

I've mentioned before that I'm not a huge fan of fruity flavored cereal. It's not really my thing. So keep that in mind here. But after trying a recent sample of The Cereal Schools Fruity cereal I was left unimpressed. And while the taste was a factor for me, even beyond that part the texture was just as equally related to this. These puffs have a gritty slightly foam taste. They remind me of protein puffs that I have had before. Very light and airy, but a slight artificial taste. And let's be real, they would be artificial. Anything that real would have carbs most likely.

These aren't awful, but I personally wasn’t really a fan. I would be open to try some other flavors to see if that makes a difference for me. But this particular batch was not for me.

Dang Bar Cardamom Chai Review

Yum. The Dang Bar company continues to put out unique flavors that surpass expectations and surprise. The Caramom Chai flavor was a flavorful surprise that was unlike any other bars I had tasted prior. I was totally into it. Great taste, some sweetness, and a filling flavor. Hints of cinnamon and chai where here. Great bar. I think that if you haven't checked out this company you probably should.

Sun Biotics Chocolate Almonds Review

I love almonds. I eat almonds almost every day with my lunch. It’s a regular snack filler for me. Lots of fiber and now there are lots of companies with more and more unique flavor options. Cocoa almonds are pretty easy to find and becoming more available on snack shelves too.

These particular Cocoa almonds by Sunbiotics are awful. I don’t understand what the need is to alter cocoa almonds much. Almonds are pretty natural already. Adding probiotics to them seems silly. These had the weirdest taste and a real strange flavor to them. Not just cocoa but something else with a real earthy side which I assume is by having the probiotics. Honestly, I couldn’t even finish the bag. The flavor was so distracting for me. When I think Cocoa Almonds I think of almonds with a nice slight sweetness and chocolaty taste. That’s not the case here.

Bleh. Hard pass.
