So if you read this blog regularly you know that I am all about finding Low carb food, meals, and snacks that meet the categories of easy, cheap, and fast.  In the past, of all those things to discuss, the easiest thing for me to write about has always been the easy and fast Atkins products. But that doesn’t mean that price isn't something I am not thinking about.  Especially when it comes to eating out.
 
With that in mind it seemed like worth sharing a cool new site that was sent to me recently called Pricelisto.com. These guys are a startup and they are working overtime to get the most up to date prices for restaurants on their site. They say they have 26.1 million prices for over 298K different locations. Pretty cool.
 
Obviously if you are eating low carb and want to plan ahead when you are pinching pennies this is a great way to find out what to expect to pay. Plan your meals, compare your prices, and find out how to make that perfect low carb menu item without breaking the bank for extra meat, cheese, or a specialty salad.  

I was not crazy about these pumpkin seeds. But I’m also learning that I’m not big on pumpkin seeds. I found the ones that I do like are usually flavored with a little bit more of a sweet flavoring. All the other flavors are just OK. Really it’s the actual flavor of the pumpkin seed that I’m not crazy about so the more that the company can mask it the better in my opinion. That being said I went in trying the spicy Texas chili pumpkin seeds by SKOUT expecting to think I would like these a lot. And while they are OK they really weren’t flavored enough to get me to continue eating the bag. I’d much rather have a peanut or walnut or an Almond. And even though those nuts have more carbs in them than pumpkin seeds the flavor of the nuts sit’s with with me a lot better.

I should mention that I have a coworker that thought these tasted really yummy. You don’t know her so her opinion probably doesn’t matter. But she’s pretty nice. Probably like her if you took the time to get to know her. But you’re always so busy. Geez.

I’m not gonna give this one a really long review. I’ve tried several sugar-free chocolate hazelnut spread’s now and this particular brand by Nekstella is one of the weaker ones I’ve had. Tasted very oily and unnatural. Then again it’s safe to say that all of the sugar-free hazelnut spread so I’ve had were all fairly a natural because of the sugar free aspect this one had heavy oil properties. Not my favorite.

If you’re looking for a quick easy snack to keep at your desk you can’t go wrong with OLOVES brand olives. Most recently I got to try the basil and garlic flavor. Great taste and not too heavy on the garlic. They have just the right amount of olives in each little pouch so you don’t feel like you’re overdoing it. I’ve always been more partial to green olives and black so these appeal to me a bit more. Again this company makes great flavors that don’t overpower the natural olive taste. Fun to have a little something different. They sell these in small packages so it’s perfect for when you need something on the go. Worth a try. Of course you can always buy a jar of olives at the grocery store for next to nothing and just pack your own little pouches if you wanted. But you had a tough week treat yourself.

this chocolate bar by Chocoperfection is pretty standard. It’s dark chocolate so it’s not that sweet and they do put roasted almonds inside. It’s basically like sugar-free version of Mr. good bar. That’s not a bad thing but a lot of times when you have a dark chocolate that’s not that sweet the flavor is not as appealing. It’s not that this is a bad chocolate bar. It’s not. To be honest if you were craving chocolate and wanted to keep it low carb this will probably be a great fit. It’s just that this wasn’t one of the better ones I’ve had. Kind of a five out of 10 scenario. Again totally doable and I’m pretty sure I’ve had some chocolate from this brand it’s even better than this one. But it’s not the kind of chocolate you flip your lid over either.

I don’t know if I should even really talk about this stuff. I mean it’s sugarfree so I guess it’s worth mentioning. But I have no idea if any my readers even care about something like Healing Butterfly chocolate green tea powder. Personally was not a huge fan. Look I am a coffee guy through and through. Tea is OK but it’s rare that I find a Tea I really like. It’s Always so watered down. I need something with a little kick to it. A bite.

I do understand that there are people out there that love green tea. If you do and you want something with sugar-free you probably like this. It’s probably a safe bet. I’m not the right person to judge it. See I told you probably not even worth me posting this.

Maybe I could talk about something that I do know about for the rest of the review that you might care little bit more to hear. I could easily go on for a couple paragraphs about the newest version of the Star Wars movie if you’d like. Actually that could be pretty long post. Maybe too long even. You know what I won’t get into it. I will say this I personally thought Star Wars the last Jedi is very similar to sugar free chocolate green tea powder. That is to say it’s sufficient for what it is but it doesn’t have the bite or kick of excitement that you want. I would imagine that sugar-free chocolate green tea powder in Star Wars the Last Jedi probably go together perfectly on a nice winter evening.

Go go drink some coffee.

I know that I’ve mentioned the brand Smartcakes before. They do a really good job of creating a small zero carb cake treat. These things are full of tons of flavor. I recently tried one of their newer flavors which is tangerine. At first this didn’t seem like a good flavor for a snack cake but I was completely wrong. This was super yummy had great taste. Because of the fruit flavor I actually felt comfortable using this as a breakfast snack.

The cakes are not very big but there are two in a package. They’re closer to small muffins. Very moist and fresh. The aroma that these cakes put off it’s very refreshing as well. I really wouldn’t of thought of a tangerine flavored cake would work but there’s no question in my mind that I would eat these agian.
