Anyone else try this stuff and if so what do you use it for?
I don’t really use mayo that often in my house. But if I did I would definitely incorporate this Mushashi Green Chili Mayo. This stuff has an excellent kick to it and taste more like a spicy sauce for dipping then it does any traditional mayo. My wife and I put it on some hamburgers and it was wonderful to add a nice new flavor. I look forward to trying it on some tuna melts down the road and maybe even some egg salad.
Anyone else try this stuff and if so what do you use it for?

I love dried cheese snacks. Just the cheese makes a jalapeño cheese dried snack which is as yummy as some of the others out there but with a nice little kick from the peppers. The pieces of dried cheese aren’t as large in these bags at some of the competition. Still very good and a perfect snack to have at your desk or in your car in case of emergencies. No risk of any guilt.
Hey folks, this Volpi Chorizo Flavored Salame meat stick is really good. Awesome flavor and great texture. All around a top notch meat stick. Thick and hearty too. I would do this one again in a heartbeat. Yum. 9/10
outside of eating walnuts in some sort of bridge mix of nuts they’re not really enough I think to eat or snack on a regular basis. Maybe I should more often as I was not aware of how much of a superfood they are considered. Filled with lots of healthy fats and proteins walnuts are a great snacking choice for those of us on a low-carb diet.
The Crazy Go Nuts Garlic Parmesan Walnuts initially seemed like an odd flavor choice for a nut to me. But after popping a couple of these bad boys in my mouth I quickly realized that the flavor worked out better than I expected. I personally enjoy a little bit more salt on my nuts the knees had, but my wife said these were just right. I guess that’s the thing of crazy go nuts company. They have several flavors that you wouldn’t expect to work and are a bit more bizarre. I look forward to trying some of these other flavors. Big take away here is that these were pretty good, and I think I’m going to investigate walnuts as a snack more often. Perhaps even buying a large bag of them myself and roasting them in the oven with some seasoning on my own. I went in with pretty low expectations here. I’ve had a couple different other types of flax crackers in the past and most of them are very seed tasting and do not taste good on their own unless accompanied with a dip of some sort. Raw Food Centrals Cashew Crunch flax crackers are not like other flax crackers. Maybe it’s the cashew that adds the flavor to these or maybe it’s the binding agent they used to get the flax to stick together. Whatever it is these taste great. I ate my crackers with a small amount of red pepper hummus which was the perfect combination to go together. But again even without any dip they hate a nice taste that wasn’t too grainy. These have a great consistency. The crackers are actually pretty thick although still fairly brittle. By the time I came to the end of the bag there was a good amount of crumbs left from broken pieces. My only real complaint here is because of how thick the crackers are I didn’t get to use them as far as I would other brands. Kind a like eating chunks of granola. But still the flavor these is great at some of the best I’ve had. I highly recommended if you can track them down.
The Olive Snack with Chili and Black Pepper by Gaea products tasted pretty good. And while it did carry a fair amount of spice to it, from a flavor standpoint it didn’t seem that stand out. These seem like pretty run-of-the-mill olives with some additional seasoning added to them. A couple of other brands I’ve tried out there seem to put a little bit more into the flavoring. All that to say as they’re not bad, they have a good spice, but I would’ve liked to seen just a little bit more unique flavor to these then what I got. At the end of the day they are just spicy olives. And I suppose for some people that’s exactly what they want. I’d like a little bit more than heat personally.
At this point now I’ve tried several different chocolates from the Coco polo chocolate company. Most recently I tried the Coco Polo Elderberry Milk Chocolate bar with zero added sugars. This has got to be one of the better tasting chocolate bars I’ve had in a while. One of the things that stands out most about this is how strong the Berry taste comes out. Super tasty and super fruit flavored it’s a light refreshing chocolate bar. What’s great is that the natural sugars of the Berries help to really carry this bar too. I would put this up high on the list of low-carb chocolate bars currently available. The incorporation of the fruit really makes this taste like something special that you can’t find anywhere else.
So there is another keto snack box which is recently entered the mix. I have written about a couple of the others in the past and I think it’s alway great to compare what’s out there. My Keto Snack Box is a subscription snack box that is delivered to you once a month. At $38 a month they guarantee you will see 7 to 10 different snack choices all at 5 grams of carbs or less. Pretty decent concept. The first thing we should address is the box the snacks come in and shipping experience. The box arrived very quickly after I was told it would arrive and I didn’t really have any issues in the condition it arrived. This is a quality sturdy box and I never felt as though I had any risk of items getting damaged. One thing I wish I could have had more of what is information about the products I was receiving. It’s always nice to get a website or additional context about the company that makes the Snack I am eating. Nothing in-depth, just a little insight into where these items are from. Theyy do have a nice little card which breaks down the amount of carbs each serving of the items you receive has. That’s nice to have when it comes to planning what snacks are going to eat and when.
So how are the snacks in this particular box? All in all I was decently happy with what I received. This particular box had two different types of nuts in it. Front porch pecans which are some of my absolute favorites and some flavored almonds which always nice to have at my desk at work. There were two small bags of protein chips which are fun to try again and I’m glad they come in two bags so I can have more than one serving. Especially since these chip bags are not super full. Some beef sticks which seem to be very well-made and of high-quality. I haven’t tried them yet but I look forward to it. There’s another dried cheese snack which I always love. They also included a bottle of green chili mayo. I like to get these kind of items because they are the type of thing that can last a while and you can use in multiple different ways. Not really a snack but multipurpose condiment. The last thing in the box is some collagen peptides. I can’t really speak to that item because I have no idea what it’s for. One thing I can say is that it doesn’t seem like much of a snack which is disappointing. For the most part I’m pretty happy with what items they included in this box. Nice well-rounded items and decent snacks. Not exactly sure if all of these items total up to the value of what the box is for this month. But there certainly items that would be much more expensive if I had them shipped to me by themselves. I look forward to seeing what else this company does for their boxes what other items they send out in the future. Does anyone out there use My Keto Snack Box today? If so what are your thoughts? How was the experience been for you? Guys it’s time for one of my favorite parts of my month. When my new keto subscription box shows up. Let’s do a new review for March. Keto Krate is a new subscription box that is available in the long list of to your door monthly box subscriptions that is specifically geared towards the Keto and low carb lifestyle. They guarantee that all items in the box will be less than 5 carbs per serving and that the value of the collected items products will always exceed the cost of the box. My desire to find some new snacks that were low carb is really what made me decide to give it a try, that plus who doesn’t like a surprise now and then. My review's for the individual products in this box will be cut short here. I will be doing more in-depth reviews on each product and share links to those reviews here as I complete them. Right now I just want to talk about this month's box and what I got as a whole. This months box is filled with all sorts of fun stuff. First thing to catch my eye was a little salami stick. I love salami. It’s one of my go to meats. They included a mix to make energy bites which is fun. My wife makes energy bites all the time in our house but I can never eat them because they’re filled with honey and chocolate and all the stuff you put into a cookie but rolled into an energy ball shape so she doesn’t feel as guilty about it. There’s a new brand of flax crackers in here. I’m excited to give those a try because I’ve tried a lot of flax crackers lately and as long as I got a dip nearby I always need a good delivery system. A little package of olives is nice too. A bag of garlic Parmesan walnuts. Totally different but super excited try these. I don’t think I’ve ever gotten a bag of walnuts really. There’s a protein cookie which is peanut butter in flavor. It seems like a pretty safe bet. The last two items I pulled out was a bag of beef sticks and a chocolate bar. Both of these brands ohavr shown up in the box before and they’re pretty high-end quality. I look forward to trying these particular flavors this go-round. One thing this subscription box always seems to do well is there’s always one item that seems a little bit different and stands out. For sure the energy bite mix is that item. I look forward to trying this stuff haven’t some new snacks in the house. Great box keto Krate. What at do you guys think? Creation Nation Energy Bite Mix
Volpi Salami Stick Raw Foods Cashew Crunch Flax Crackers Coco Polo Elderberry Milk Chocolate Crazy Go Nuts Garlic Parmesan Walnuts Olive Snack Droewors Ayoba-yo Beef Sticks Now Cow Peanut Butter Protien Cookie Are you a fan of Unsweetened almond milk? I am. We use it in our house all of the time. Great on cereal, oatmeal, all sorts of stuff. I like to use it for hot chocolate. Guys there’s a new sheriff in town and it’s name is macadamia milk. Before I go spouting off how delicious it is I should say it’s probably very difficult to find and super expensive. That’s really just a guess of mine. But I’m going off what it cost to get a small can of macadamia nuts. Stuff ain’t cheap. However if you grew up with a silver spoon in your mouth and find yourself driving your Lamborghini to the nearest grocery store go ahead pick up some of this unsweetened vanilla Milkadamia macadamia milk. It’s some of the smoothest stuff I’ve ever had. On top of that it taste like you’re drinking a macadamia cookie. Super delicious. Even on its own as a simple cold glass. I can’t wait to try this is some of my recipes.
I honestly couldn’t tell you where you would find this locally. This one came to me in one of my keto crates. I’m guessing it would not be cheap to ship either. But hopefully if you support a great company like this they will expand and start showing up on store shelves near you. Sometimes it’s worth paying for quality. |
