I have to do a quick shout out to this Street Kitchen Scratch Kit curry sauce kit we picked up the other day at Walmart. We love curry in our house and this was by far some of the tastiest cream mix we have had. Granted we could probably easily re-create this on our own. But neither myself nor my wife are that great a chefs so following some sort of direction or guide is always nice. Anyway the flavor of the sauce with some of the better flavor we've had. Great coconut he taste and it really doesn't have that many carbs in it. We had ours with some chicken and fresh veggies were some cauliflower rice. I'll definitely be having the stuff again and I look forward to trying Street Kitchens other brands of sauce mixes.

At first I thought it was pretty weird that a a tin of XyloBurst Fruit Sours showed up in my box of low-carb treats. But as time is going on I've decided this will be fun to have around. I keep my at my desk and when I have a craving for something sweet I pop one in my mouth. They're not really something you go to town with but that's OK. Something to give you have the sweet taste of grape occasionally and fills your sweet tooth. And a much better alternative to sugar candy.
I won't go super in-depth with my review on this particular dried beef stick. I've written about this before so I don't think there's a need to. But I will say this, they are still very tasty. They pack a lot of flavor into these and if you like it good dried beef stick there's nothing more natural and flavorful than these guys.
well I've been doing the low-carb diet for several years now and somehow I've managed to never have a park-and-ride. I know crazy right. Everybody always recommends them is a great chip substitute I was I was kind of weirded out by the idea. Well it was time for me to try it. I got a bag of pork rinds in my recent keto krate so it seemed like the perfect time to give it a go.
Pork clouds are more of an artisan pork rind. At least that's what I'm guessing they're selling it as. I tried the Malabar black pepper flavor which is simply olive oil and black pepper on some pork rinds. These are actually really good. No joke I'm definitely looking up pork rinds a snack going forward. A little salty and the pepper in these things had some great spice so it totally made me forget about what I was eating. If they have these in a cheese flavor it would be game over. i've never seen this particular brand near me so I don't know if I'll be able to easily find them again but I know I've seen plenty of pork rinds. You live in North Dakota you're only a few feet away from a gas station filled with greasy treats. And again you're not gonna find another snack like this that has zero carbs on the label. I don't know what happened but I guess I'm a changed man. Wasn't too long ago that the idea flax crackers would've really creeped me out. Eating a bunch of seeds glued together is not my idea of a good time or a delicious treat. However most recently I've had a change of mind mainly because I found that bees work as a great delivery vehicle for dip. But I did try another flax crackers recently that I should talk about. Mexican Harvest flax crackers by Foods Alive.
Sp first off I tried these crackers on their own because they are flavored. They have a taco spice to them and I have to say standalone flavor wise these are probably the best tasting flax crackers I've had. They do have a bit more carbs than some of the other flax crackers I've seen but I'll take it if it means they get to taste better. After trying them by themselves I decided to go ahead and use them with a dip. I went with a spinach dip and crackers work great. I mean whatever dip you use is going to overpower the weirdness of the flaxseed cracker so go for it. Really after You put a dip on your cracker the dip really takes control of the flavor anyway so doesn't matter how weird or seed like your crackers are. At that point you're in the clear. Again I think it's important emphasize the fact that they still are the best tasting by themselves dipless flax crackers I've had to date. The Mexican spice does a great job to mask some of the weird taste of the flax. I would actually not have any problem eating these by themselves. But that doesn't mean I'm going to. If you read this blog you know that I am constantly on the look-out for Low Carb products that meet my lifestyle and help to make my life a bit easier. Saving time on cooking, and having a variety of snacks available help to make the diet a bit easier on myself so I don’t get bored with the same old things. So when I discovered that there was a new subscription service that sends you products that fit within the low carb lifestyle I was on board. Keto Krate is a new subscription box that is available in the long list of to your door monthly box subscriptions that is specifically geared towards the Keto and low carb lifestyle. They guarantee that all items in the box will be less than 5 carbs per serving and that the value of the collected items products will always exceed the cost of the box. My desire to find some new snacks that were low carb is really what made me decide to give it a try, that plus who doesn’t like a surprise now and then. My review's for the individual products in this box will be cut short here. I will be doing more in-depth reviews on each product and share links to those reviews here as I complete them. Right now I just want to talk about this month's box and what I got as a whole. So every box has a nice little welcome card that explains all the items you received and then usually has some promo codes in case you need more of something. I have already found myself using this for a snack I receive in my last box that no one carried in the stores near me. I had to have some more so having a little discount was great to give me the incentive to get some shipped to me. So what was in my box this month? Lots of great stuff in my box this month. I knew chocolate bar to try. Some pork clouds a.k.a. pork rinds. Believe it or not I've never actually had pork rinds. Guess it's time to try some. Dried beef sausage from the company they sent before but very tasty. There's another package of trail mix. A low-carb brownie mix which is always fun when there's a baked good inside the box. Fruits sours, A low-carb candy. And lastly the thing I'm most nervous about dried salmon. Most of the stuff looks pretty good in anytime there's chocolate involved it's usually a no-brainer for me. I'm excited as always. These guys do a great job putting their boxes together.
Be sure to check back later when I post the actual links to the individual reviews on here once I'm finished trying them. This is some fantastic jerky. No joke. Of all the seasoned jerky I have tried this is some of of the tastiest. Keto Carne beef jerky is very fresh and tender. Great flavor. It wasn't overy sweet either. I can pinpoint what they do that's different but it sure is good. I may even order some of this stuff again. Very tasty.
This was one of the better low carb chocolate bars I have tried. Very smooth taste without a waxy artificial feel. I love darker chocolate too and this has a better cocoa taste. Great for those that are in need of some sweets of the occasional chocolate taste.
